My commitment to you is that when elected I will be on the ground in our communities, just as I have been doing all along throughout our campaign.  The At-Large position encompasses representation for all of Hawai'i, not just a particular island.  This allows me to be a voice for everyone and visit with you all in our communities at the grassroots level listening to the concerns of our small business owners, ranchers, farmers, and thought leaders.  I will travel to each island separate from the formal yearly board meetings throughout Hawai'i and immerse myself in the inner-workings of our communities.  This is the kind of leadership I will bring to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.  This is the kind of leadership that will bring about tangible changes for Hawai'i and Hawaiians.
